for the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation!
Fashion with Compassion 2010 was held on Saturday, September 24th at the Telus Convention Centre in downtown Calgary. 680 guests were treated to an "Everyday Gourmet" luncheon and program emceed by CTV's Vickie Chase and Chad Martin of Astral Media Group.
The sixth annual fashion show featured fall collections from Ducks & Co. modelled patients from the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation. Most of the models are graduates of the group support programs provided by BCSC - the very programs funded by the proceeds of Fashion with Compassion. It was a moving experience to hear first hand how the support of sponsors, donors and guests have made a difference in the lives of these 10 courageous and inspiring women. In turn, the women had the opportunity to "give back" by sharing their experiences with guests and volunteering their time to model in the show.
Through generous sponsorships and donations, grand prize tickets sales, the silent auction and raffle draws, this year's event raised approximately $130,000. This money goes directly to funding the group support programs that help so many women and their loved ones to not just survive but thrive after breast cancer. To date, Ducks has raised INSERT AMOUNT for Breast Cancer Supportive Care.

Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation, a federally registered charity located in Calgary, is dedicated to providing innovative programs designed to offer support in the physical and emotional challenges that accompany and persist beyond treatment and recovery for breast cancer patients.
BCSCF has grown over the past 5 years to now providing care and support to over 1400 patients.
